Mission Statement

Our mission here at The Historic First Baptist Church of Cheswold is to share the love of Jesus and to lead mankind into a "right" relationship with Him. We strive to encourage and equip men and women to develop an intimacy with God and to become part of a loving and caring faith community. Additionally, FBCC seeks to be a church where all of God's children feel welcomed and can come to know and live a god-pleasing life according to His Word! FBCC follows the mandate of Jesus Christ and the Holy Scriptures to go into the world, evangelize the lost, care for the needy, and help comfort the distressed and hurting. FBCC is a "bible believing" church whose members are empowered by the Holy Spirit and enjoy the privilege of making disciples of men, women, and children for Christ.
